IT Security Engineer

Zetier seeks experienced IT Security Engineer to support, manage, and secure our rapidly expanding infrastructure. Candidates will demonstrate experience in maintaining, deploying, and troubleshooting segmented IT systems. Strong candidates will embody a focus on automating infrastructure and streamlining standards-compliant networks that accelerate complex hardware/software development efforts. Representative expectations for IT Security Engineer:

Required:

  • Practical experience (4+ years) with IT admin (e.g. Linux, Ubiquiti)
  • Hands-on experience with networking (e.g. hubs/routers, firewalls)
  • Proficiency in network security (e.g. iptables, OpenVPN, Wireguard)
  • Familiarity with modern orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Demonstrated capability to design and deploy scalable IT solutions
  • Effective communication with stakeholders and team members
  • Active U.S. security clearance

Desired:

  • Served as an ISSM or similar security management role
  • Knowledge of NIST, RMF, and other compliance frameworks
