Are manual testers still in demand?

Manual testers are still in demand as they play a crucial role in identifying user experience issues and testing functionalities that require human judgment. While automation testing is growing, many organizations rely on manual testing for exploratory testing, usability assessments, and scenarios that are difficult to automate. Knowledge of testing tools and scripting can enhance employability in this field.

How to become an IT tester?

To become an IT tester, gain a solid understanding of software development and testing principles, learn testing tools like Selenium or JIRA, and develop skills in scripting and bug tracking. Earning certifications such as ISTQB can enhance credibility, and gaining practical experience through internships or entry-level roles is valuable.

Will AI replace manual QA?

AI can automate many repetitive testing tasks in manual QA, increasing efficiency and accuracy. However, manual QA remains essential for exploratory testing, user experience evaluation, and identifying issues that require human judgment, making full replacement unlikely in the near term.

How much does a manual tester make?

A manual tester's salary varies based on experience, location, and industry, but typically ranges from $40,000 to $80,000 annually. Entry-level testers may earn around $40,000, while experienced professionals with certifications can earn over $70,000 or more. Salary also depends on the complexity of testing tasks and the company's size.
