Job Description
Senior IT Manager - SAP Systems (Hybrid Infrastructure)
Senior IT Manager for SAP Systems: Leads the strategy, operations, and evolution of a large, diverse SAP landscape. Oversees a complex, hybrid environment-balancing critical on-premise SAP and 3rd Party systems with scalable cloud integrations. Responsibilities within this position spans SAP Infrastructure and system architecture, monitors and maintains high-performance technical and operational execution, and ensures close adherence to strategic corporate initiatives, to maximize our SAP investments.
Key Responsibilities
Hybrid Infrastructure & Architecture Governance
  • Manage Hybrid Ecosystems: Oversee the availability, security, and performance of our hybrid SAP landscape (combining on-premise core databases with cloud applications and platforms including SAP ECC, BIW, SCM, GRC, EWM, HANA DB, SAP ASE, SAP Portal and SAP C4)
  • Cloud Integration & Strategy: Architect seamless data flows, API, CPI RFC, SOA, Boomi, and EDI connections between on-premise components and cloud-based solutions.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Formulate, maintain, and test robust backup and recovery strategies across both on-premise servers and cloud instances.

Operations & Service Delivery
  • SLA & Incident Management: Define and track key performance metrics to ensure maximum system uptime and minimize business disruptions.
  • System Maintenance: Coordinate upgrades, support packages, security patching, and system refreshes across the landscape with minimal impact on operations. [

Compliance, Risk, & Audit Management
  • Audit Readiness & Execution: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external IT audits. Provide required evidence, system logs, and configuration reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance across the SAP landscape with relevant industry regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, etc...).
  • Access Governance & GRC: Manage the SAP Security Team, with emphasis on SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools. Monitors and enforces Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies to eliminate access conflicts.
  • Change Control Management: Enforces strict change management workflows to verify that all system transports, patches, and code deployments are approved, tested, documented, reviewed, and ultimately auditable.
  • Vulnerability & Patch Management: Schedule and monitor mandatory SAP security notes and patches across both on-premise and cloud nodes to mitigate risk vulnerabilities.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management
  • Team Mentorship: Direct, coach, and evaluate a team of highly productive Individual Contributors specializing in SAP Security, SAP BASIS administration.
  • Database Administration: of SAP HANA, Oracle, SAP ASE, and MS-SQL.
  • Production Support: Supports Global Print Management, Enterprise Scheduling, Enterprise Backup/Restore.
  • External Partner Oversight: Manage third-party system integrators, cloud service providers, and vendor account managers to maximize service quality and cost-efficiency.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $120,000 USD - $192,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
