IT Manager
We're a global leader in advanced technology and manufacturing, seeking an experienced IT Manager for our San Jose facility. This role is vital for overseeing IT operations, personnel, and ensuring the seamless function of both our critical production environments and robust office network systems. You'll ensure all IT services, including wireless connectivity, consistently meet our global IT Standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT Operations & Personnel: Manage daily IT department operations, including desktop support and infrastructure. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.
  • Ensure IT Standards & Compliance: Implement and enforce global IT standards, policies, and procedures across all networks, platforms, and service operations. Conduct audits to ensure strict adherence.
  • Manage IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-speed networks (LAN/WAN), servers, virtualization, data centers, and ensure robust and secure wireless connectivity.
  • Support Production & Office Systems: Ensure IT effectively supports manufacturing operations and optimizes office network performance, minimizing downtime.
  • Project Management: Lead IT projects from planning to completion, collaborating with engineering and production teams to drive critical IT solutions.
  • Customer Interaction & Requirements Gathering: Act as a primary IT contact for internal departments and external customers. Proactively engage stakeholders to gather detailed IT requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into actionable IT solutions that align with evolving business needs.
  • Security & Business Continuity: Implement security policies, conduct audits, and develop disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, with 3-5 years in IT management within a high-tech manufacturing or R&D environment.
  • Proven experience overseeing IT personnel and managing the daily IT department operations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing IT systems and critical production support.
  • Experience in managing complex IT infrastructure, including enterprise networks and wireless solutions.
