Job Overview

The Manager, IT Infrastructure is responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the organization’s core technical infrastructure—including networks, servers, systems, and cloud/hosting environments. This role ensures the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly available, translating infrastructure strategy into operational execution.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s network, server, and systems infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Lead infrastructure transformation and upgrade projects to enable the organization to scale.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee systems and network architecture, capacity planning, and disaster recovery/business continuity readiness.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to assess and address the organization’s technology infrastructure needs.
  • Manage infrastructure projects from conception to implementation and evaluation.
  • Manage the infrastructure budget and ensure resources and assets are utilized within approved budget.
  • Monitor information security principles and practices as they relate to infrastructure systems.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in infrastructure.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process/policy improvements within the infrastructure team.
  • Participate in hiring activities including candidate selection and interviews for infrastructure roles.
  • Support collaborators on the infrastructure team in training, development, performance, and competency alignment.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in IT infrastructure roles.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience in systems and network architecture, information security principles, and IT best practices.
  • Experience conveying complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
