Job description

Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Manager, IT Infrastructure to join us in a full-time capacity.
Location Requirement:
The work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in the office, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week.
Role Overview:
The Manager, IT Infrastructure oversees the daily operations, tasks, and projects of the IT Infrastructure team, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the organization's infrastructure platforms. Reporting to the Director, Infrastructure & Network, this role manages a single team of infrastructure engineers, administrators, analysts, and project managers and is accountable for the consistent availability and performance of the platforms that enable business functions. The Manager coordinates team activities, drives operational improvements, manages vendor relationships, and develops staff while maintaining security, scalability, and high availability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Required Experience:
  • Four (4) years of experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide servers, storage, and virtual machines.
  • Two (2) years of successful leadership of an infrastructure team, with excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group Policies, MS Exchange, SAN, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Asset and Configuration Management, and Service Level Agreements.

Preferred Experience:
  • Two (2) years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors on IT data center facilities systems (security, fire suppression, HVAC, UPS, and power distribution); hands-on facilities maintenance is not required for this role.

  • Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a systematic approach to resolving problems and leading others through problem resolution.
  • Strong work ethic in supporting customer needs, responding promptly and consistently.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information concisely and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and time management skills.
