Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking an IT Help Desk in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment
* Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, email, and common business software
* Respond to incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system while meeting established SLAs
* Install, configure, image, and deploy new computers and equipment
* Diagnose hardware and software issues and coordinate repairs or replacements when necessary
* Assist employees with password resets, account access, VPN connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting
* Support conference room technology, audiovisual equipment, and meeting setup
* Perform workstation moves, adds, and changes
* Document technical issues, resolutions, and knowledge base articles
* Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware and software assets
* Escalate complex issues to the appropriate infrastructure or application support teams
* Deliver professional, white-glove customer service to employees at all levels of the organization
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-5 years of Help Desk or Desktop Support experience
* Experience using an ITSM/ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice, or similar)
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
* Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
Strong knowledge of:
* Windows 10/11
* Microsoft 365
* Active Directory (user administration)
* Hardware troubleshooting
* Printers and peripherals
* Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
