IT Technician – Part Time (Traveling to Legacy Healthcare Management Facilities)

Position Summary

The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of computer systems, networks, and technology equipment across all Legacy Healthcare Management facilities. This position requires frequent travel to multiple locations to ensure reliable IT operations and timely resolution of technical issues while delivering excellent customer service to staff.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Travel to Legacy Healthcare Management facilities to provide on-site IT support.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and internet connectivity issues.
  • Install and update operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and security patches.
  • Set up new employee workstations, email accounts, user profiles, and network access.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and business applications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot wired and wireless network connections.
  • Configure and support printers, VoIP phones, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Respond promptly to help desk tickets and document all service requests and resolutions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure all IT equipment is functioning efficiently.
  • Assist with technology upgrades, system deployments, and office relocations.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for equipment repairs, internet services, and hardware installations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and equipment.
  • Follow company IT policies, cyber security standards, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide technical training and assistance to end users as needed.
  • Participate in after-hours or emergency support when required.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in desktop support or IT technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows , networking, Active Directory, printers, and computer hardware.
  • Experience with remote support tools and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Legacy Healthcare Management facilities.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
