Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

About the Role
Kwik Trip is seeking an IT Development Team Manager to provide leadership and direction for two Scrum teams supporting critical systems and application initiatives. This role balances people leadership with technical and operational oversight, ensuring teams deliver reliable, scalable solutions while advancing modern deployment, tooling, and development practices. You will play a key role in team growth, systems migration, and maintaining high-availability environments.
What You'll Do
  • Provide personnel management and leadership for two Scrum teams, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture
  • Oversee and prioritize the day-to-day work of assigned Scrum teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Develop a deep understanding of each team's responsibilities, applications, and workflows to effectively lead and support them
  • Partner with stakeholders and technical leaders to align development efforts with organizational priorities
  • Drive strategies focused on same-day deployments and zero-downtime application availability
  • Guide teams through systems and application migration initiatives while maintaining operational stability
  • Mentor team members and support ongoing skill development and technical growth
  • Promote and implement a unified set of development and operational tools with a single pane of glass approach
  • Lead efforts to adopt Infrastructure as Code (IaC) where appropriate
  • Support and complete initiatives related to GitHub usage and containerization
  • Balance management responsibilities with an existing manager to support team growth and workload distribution
  • Ensure consistent use of Agile and Scrum best practices across development teams
