As communications manager, you are responsible for managing external and internal communications that advance HNTB's business goals and carry out HNTB's brand messages. You will work closely with subject matter experts to plan, develop and implement content. This role requires a person with knowledge of how best to convey messages in multiple formats and across communication channels.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategy Development: Develops and leads the communications strategy that are aligned with HNTB's business goals and support HNTB's brand messages.
  • Program Management: Implements programs that are part of HNTB's strategy including working with a team to strategize HNTB's involvement in industry associations, identifies and develops award submittals, manages HNTB's publications, collaborates with team members to develop advertising, presentations, articles, social and web content and video.
  • Content Creation: Develops engaging and informative content that is consistent with brand messaging for a variety of communications channels including internal, social and web platforms.
  • Event Management: Supports the development and logistics of various events, such as conferences, meetings, open houses, forums and other events.
  • Results Reporting: Tracks communication programs effectiveness.
  • List Management: Updates and maintain internal and external contact lists.
  • Budget Management: Manages and develops communications budget for specific programs.
  • Market Research: Researches and implements current industry trends on communication approaches.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related fields and 8 years corporate communications or agency experience.
  • In lieu of education, 12 years of relevant experience
