The Communications Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will partner with the client's Global Security team in the development of global communications, video and marketing strategies, plans, and messaging, to determine business line security awareness needs and manage related projects from concept to completion. This position will have a hybrid (in office/remote) work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Continually improve security services, build team and corporate collaboration opportunities, and raise awareness through Global Security communications and security best practices among the client's employees, vendors, and contingent staff.
  • Develop global marketing and communications strategies with Global Security Communications team and apply, as needed.
  • Produce multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and other visual materials to support communication efforts, including security education and awareness, with provision of necessary video equipment.
  • Advise and assist the Communications Program Manager in the development and maintenance of global messaging and communications plans and strategies.
  • Partner with regional external and internal stakeholders and global security customers to identify global security business line communication opportunities.
  • Develop and implement communications plans to address identified needs.
  • Determine project requirements and develop site-specific marketing strategies around the deployment of messaging to ensure alignment with the client's and Global Security business plans.
  • Partner with Global Security Communications and Internal Communications to implement branding for new marketing designs.
  • Plan, schedule, and implement security awareness campaigns to address specific security issues.
  • Plan, edit, and write, and layout content for a variety of internal communications mediums such as social media channels, newsletters, quarterly business updates or regular email bulletin.
  • Write and edit scripts and storyboards, handle pre-production planning, and perform post-production editing for video and audio content.
  • Ensure Internal Communication's messages are consistent across all mediums and departments and aligned with the Global Security and Corporate Communication strategy.
  • Manage and provide direction to internal and external vendors, as needed.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with communications/marketing experience including various multimedia such as video, graphics, and other visual materials and/or an equivalent combination of education and sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

  • Digital literacy with the ability to find, evaluate, utilize, share, and create content using information technologies.
