Employee Experience & Communications Intern | OmniCable - West Chester, PA
What You'll Do:
As an Employee Experience & Communications Intern , your primary responsibility will be to assist the Employee Experience Business Partner in the day-to-day operations of employee communications and experience. This will include creating engaging written and visual content for various internal communication channels, including Intranet, newsletters, companywide updates, internal presentations, and print materials. You will also assist in the planning and execution of internal events, such as company-wide celebrations, annual team gatherings, community service opportunities, and more.
This is a part-time Fall internship, expecting 15-25 hours of availability per week. Start date and weekly schedule are subject to your availability, and you will set your weekly schedule at the beginning of your internship. Hybrid and remote availability will be considered. This internship has the option to run through winter break, up to a maximum of January 15.
As a job requirement, you should have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Events, Employee Experience, or Business and possess excellent communication, critical thinking interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and able to problem solve.
This is an entry-level position. If you are passionate about communications or employee experience and want to gain practical experience in a dynamic and supportive environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating, reviewing, and scheduling internal company communications and events; including, but not limited to company announcements, personnel and department updates, monthly newsletters, and all employee webinars.
• Source and create company news posts to highlight team wins, welcome new team members, and other updates to be posted on the company Intranet homepage.
• Assist in maintaining and auditing the company Intranet (SharePoint) to ensure up-to-date content across all pages.
• Create internal collateral including flyers and graphics for our digital screens.
• Assist in maintaining our company store and providing support to employees ordering from it.
• Other communication and employe experience projects as assigned
