Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lifecycle Asset Management
  • Create/maintain authoritative records in CMDB/asset tools (ownership, location, status, config, warranty, costs).
  • Execute MACD: additions, migrations, swaps, RMAs, and decommissions; coordinate on-site remote hands.
  • Validate demand, place orders (per client process), and track shipment → delivery → acceptance.
  • Manage spares/VMI programs; define min/max, reorder points, and placement strategy.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
  • Act as the initial point of contact for vendor queries on shipments, access, and documentation.
  • Schedule remote-hands, ERAD/ITAD pickups, and de-installs; verify certificates of destruction/recycling where required.
  • Partner with SCM/Planning to onboard new SKUs/BOMs and maintain catalogs; collaborate with DC Ops/NetEng on capacity plans.
  • Run vendor QBRs and track SLAs/OLAs.

Data Integrity & Controls
  • Reconcile portals, DCIM, and asset tools; investigate root causes for deltas; correct at source.
  • Perform cycle counts and audits; maintain evidence for SOX/ISO/client controls.
  • Build dashboards and weekly reports (stock levels, shrinkage, aging RMA, lead times, site health).

Process Improvement & Automation
  • Document SOPs/runbooks; remove waste using Lean/5S; pilot barcoding/scan workflows and integrations (e.g., ITSM↔CMDB↔DCIM).
  • Drive standardization across regions; contribute to tooling requirements and UAT.

Salary Range
