Description
StatCare is a private Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Hospitalist medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality inpatient & outpatient care to patients throughout East Tennessee. Our physicians and advanced practice providers are committed to delivering patient-centered care to ensuring continuity, expertise, and compassion at every stage of hospitalization. StatCare strives to work collaboratively with hospital partners, nurses, and support staff, improving health outcomes and elevate the standard of care for the communities we are proud to serve.
The IT Assistant ensures that all IT functionalities are fully operational and updated in a timely and accurate manner. Identifies, investigates and resolves IT issues and extends immediate support when IT issues arise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse's, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Organize upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
  • Order system equipment when requested

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field.
EXPERIENCE
2 years of experience in healthcare related IT services.
CERTIFICATION
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)

  • Proven experience as IT Technician or Help Desk associate.
