The Position

Vinci Construction USA is seeking a Supervisor - Group IT Applications position on their Technology Team in Orlando, FL. The Supervisor - Group IT Applications position involves key duties such as Tier 2 application support, software and firmware upgrades coordination with vendors, professional communication with users, vendors, and IT, attending meetings for project status updates, and adhering to management policies. The role also requires assisting with other projects and tasks as needed. Candidates should have over 10 years of technical experience with hardware/software and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Critical thinking and the ability to streamline processes are essential skills for this position.

Key Duties

  • Application Support (Tier 2)
  • Coordinate with vendors to execute software and firmware upgrades
  • Communicate with users, vendors, and IT in a professional manner
  • Attend meetings as required and provides regular and accurate status information to project participants/department leadership -follow management guidance and adherence to policies
  • Supervise a team of analysts
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as required

Education, Experience and Skills.

  • 10 + years of technical experience working with hardware/software
  • SAP ECC 6.0 experience both supporting and maintaining
  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Critical thinking with ability to identify solutions and streamline processes
  • Experience with an ITSM ticketing system
  • Desire to work with vendors on solutions and support
  • Dependability and a willingness to learn is important for this role
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours when requested
  • Able to work both independently and effectively with remote team members as necessary
  • Willingness to share knowledge and help cross-train peers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and own tasks concurrently
  • 3+ Years Leadership Experience including leading a team and conducting performance and yearly reviews
