Job Description
Location: Foster City CA, 94404- 4 days in office
Duration: 06+ months
Payrate: $80 - $85/hr. On W2
Schedule: 40-hour work week but must be open to flexible hours (i.E. Weekends)
Description:
  • This position is on the IT Applications team responsible for Company's Application Lifecycle Management Apps support and configuration. This individual will work with a team of automotive engineers and IT infrastructure engineers to customize, maintain and advance our ALM applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with stakeholders on features, upgrades, migrations, and integrations
  • Monitor application performance via established practices and methods
  • Manage workflows, change management, Approvals and signoff and in-application configurations to meet stakeholder needs
  • Evaluate new tools and services with Development and support of custom integrations using Java and Python
  • Updating template/project configurations, workflows, and work item meta data
  • Developing dashboards and Live Reports that support engineering and management needs using Velocity and Javascript
  • other members of the team
  • Act as escalation point for Client Services team (helpdesk)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Development experience in Java, Javascript, Velocity and Python
  • Experience using Polarion within a regulated industry (medical device, aerospace, financial, automotive, etc) preferred but not required.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn, and a demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly on new technologies and technical issues
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres)
