About The Company:

Our client is looking at add an IT Administrator to their Dallas office as they build out there US office. As a global company specializing in data center construction, they will utilize Dallas to be their corporate office for North America while supporting the main HQ in the UK.

Job Description:

The IT Administrator will be in charge of all hardware deployment, maintenance and ticketing for the Dallas office. Currently utilizing the support team out of their corporate office, this individual will streamline all of the processes for the team based here in Dallas and will operate as a team of one for right now. There is a mix of hardware and server support as well as software, occasionally supporting and assisting in their cloud environment. This individual will be focused on support for the office locally, but reporting to the UK leaders, there may be support needed over there as well, virtually.

Key Responsibilities:

-Administer and maintain servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments (on-prem and hybrid)

-Monitor system performance, uptime, backups, and disaster recovery readiness

-Manage Active Directory, user authentication, permissions, and group policies

-Ensure system scalability to support project mobilization and demobilization activities

-Provide Tier 2–3 technical support for corporate and field users

-Support laptops, mobile devices, jobsite connectivity, printers, and collaboration tools

-Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues with minimal downtime

-Coordinate with vendors and managed service providers as required

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience as a tech support or IT Administrator

• Experience working with Microsoft and Mac hardware systems

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills

• Experience with construction, engineering or field-work

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
