About the Job:
Provide Qualified Technical Personnel:
  • Assign experienced IT professionals with expertise in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, SAN storage, Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, enterprise security, and infrastructure automation to perform the requested services.
Administer and Maintain Enterprise Infrastructure:
  • Provide ongoing administration, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Windows Server, VMware, SAN storage, Active Directory, IIS, SCCM, and related infrastructure to ensure system availability, reliability, and performance.

Perform Routine System Administration:
Perform routine operational activities including:
  • Windows Server administration.
  • PowerShell automation development and maintenance.
  • WSFC cluster administration.
  • VMware HA and DRS management.
  • Veeam backup administration and restoration validation.
  • WSUS patch management.
  • Storage provisioning and LUN management.
  • Active Directory administration.
  • Microsoft Entra ID integration and management.
  • Infrastructure performance monitoring and optimization.

Maintain Infrastructure Security:
Support the cybersecurity objectives by:
  • Implementing and maintaining Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Enforcing Least Privilege administrative practices.
  • Reviewing Nessus vulnerability assessment reports.
  • Performing technical remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Applying security hardening and operating system updates.

Support Change Management:
Comply with the established change management procedures by:
  • Documenting all proposed production changes.
  • Performing impact assessments and preparing rollback plans, as appropriate.
  • Obtaining explicit approval from the IT Manager prior to implementing production changes.
  • Maintaining complete documentation of completed administrative activities and system changes.

Monitor System Health and Performance:
  • Continuously monitor infrastructure components to identify potential issues, improve system performance, optimize resource utilization, and proactively address operational risks before they affect business operations.
Collaborate with IT Staff:
  • Work independently while collaborating closely with the IT personnel to coordinate maintenance activities, resolve technical issues, communicate system status, and support the operational objectives.
Maintain Service Availability:
  • Provide remote infrastructure administration services during the standard business hours and remain available for scheduled after-hours or weekend maintenance activities when required.
Document Administrative Activities:
  • Provide documentation, status updates, health reports, change records, and technical recommendations as requested by the to support operational transparency and knowledge transfer.
Protect Systems and Information:
  • Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and security of all systems, infrastructure, and data while complying with all applicable policies, security standards, and operational procedures.
