ISS STOXX is hiring a Sales specialist to support our sales efforts across the Americas region for our market leading suite of Sustainability Solutions.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a genuine interest in the area of Sustainable and Responsible investments, along with a financial background and demonstrated sales experience. As a member of the sales team, you will grow market share by identifying new business opportunities and upselling existing relationships through highlighting the ISS STOXX Sustainability solutions: https://www.iss-stoxx.com/sustainability/
The role requires a high level of technical acumen, attention to detail, the ability to understand front office needs, and strong collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
  • Achieve revenue goals by identifying new clients while closing upsells and renewals in an existing book of business
  • Grow ISS STOXX market share, recognition and perception within the investment management and asset owner community
  • Continuously assess Sustainability data market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management
  • Build and maintain relationships amongst prospects
  • Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm's CRM system
  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7-10 years' experience closing new business above target and relationship management within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor or master's degree with a background in Finance, Economics, or other related discipline is preferred
  • Track record of relationship management, business development and / revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners
  • Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, with expert judgment to help set priorities
  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills
  • Absolute personal and business integrity

Base salary: The New York City expected base pay range is $100,000 - $135,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.
The role is bonus or incentive eligible.
