About the role

We’re seeking an experienced and commercially minded Compliance Manager to play a critical role in protecting and enabling Origin to comply with its regulatory obligations.

The role will involve providing trusted advice and partnering with leaders across Energy Supply & Operations, LPG and, more broadly, across Origin's businesses to embed compliance into everyday operations! Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Delivering strategic, practical compliance advice across complex operations. 
  • Leading compliance incident investigations and corrective action programs. 
  • Leading compliance support for control improvement initiatives.  
  • Building strong stakeholder partnerships to embed a proactive compliance culture. 

What will you bring?

You will be a confident and credible compliance professional who can balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are skilled at translating complex compliance requirements into clear, practical business advice. You bring strong judgement, resilience and the ability to navigate ambiguity, earning trust through clear thinking and thoughtful communication. You will be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels. You have a track record of influencing through collaboration and leading with integrity to deliver effective compliance outcomes and help lift compliance capability. You will also have:

  • Demonstrated compliance experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Strong experience interpreting regulation and managing regulatory change
  • Proven ability to influence, challenge and partner with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with sound commercial judgement
  • Tertiary qualification in law, compliance or a related discipline
