Events Marketing Manager: Create show-stopping experiences that drive leads, sales, and brand impact.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about creating memorable event experiences that drive real business impact? As the Events Marketing Manager, you'll lead Flight Centre Brand's expo and event presence, transforming face-to-face interactions into qualified leads, brand engagement, and sales opportunities. From large-scale consumer expos to regional roadshows and partner activations, you'll ensure every event delivers measurable outcomes while showcasing our Trusted Experts and offers in a way that is unmistakably Flight Centre. You'll collaborate across marketing, product, retail, and support teams to bring innovative event experiences to life and create meaningful connections with customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor event performance against KPIs and business objectives
  • Drive qualified leads into stores through engaging and effective event strategies
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Build strong relationships with retail frontline teams, leadership, and key support functions
  • Showcase Flight Centre's Trusted Experts and value proposition through impactful event experiences
  • Project manage event marketing deliverables from concept through to execution and post-event evaluation
  • Coordinate pre-event, live event, and post-event marketing activity to maximise reach and engagement
  • Partner with Product and Partnerships teams to deliver exclusive offers, deals, and activations at events
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, IT, and operational stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery
  • Develop and manage the annual expo and events calendar aligned with campaign priorities, seasonality, and regional sales targets
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Degree qualification in marketing, media, or events
  • Strong business acumen and customer-focused mindset
  • Experience working towards KPIs and key deliverables
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage change
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and time management capabilities
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, events, or project management
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end event delivery and execution
