Location: Staten Island, New York
Position: Home Health Aide (HHA)
Shift: PRN (as needed),
Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

Job Summary

Staten Island Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will assist residents with transportation to and from medical appointments, ensure their safety during outings, and provide a supportive and caring presence throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort residents to and from clinic appointments and dialysis sessions.

  • Monitor residents to prevent falls or altercations, intervening promptly as needed.

  • Assist residents in preparing for appointments and ensure snacks are provided during out-on-pass periods.

  • Report all incidents and accidents promptly to the Clinical Coordinator or ADNS.

  • Represent the facility in a professional and courteous manner, upholding all policies and procedures both on and off-site.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.

  • Strong communication skills and a dependable, flexible attitude.

  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing excellent resident care.
