Job description

Position Title: Facilities Technician
Reports To: Facilities Officer/Manager
General Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining the functionality, appearance, and safety of buildings and surrounding grounds.
Responsibilities:
  • Basic maintenance of building structures, parking lots, sidewalks, and landscaping
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Light duty custodial work
  • Minor automotive maintenance
  • Minor repairs of bank equipment
  • Lock, key, and safe deposit box maintenance
  • Move, assemble, install, and repair office furniture
  • Mail and supplies delivery as needed
  • Emergency response during business hours and after hours/weekends
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma required
  • 2 years' experience related to facility and equipment maintenance
  • A valid Driver License with good driving record required
Skills
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to work varied shifts as required
  • Adept with use and repair of machinery and tools
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as part of a team
  • Proficient with use of computers (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word) and smart phone
  • Self-motivated with ability to work without assistance
  • Familiar with essential safety practices
