As an Irrigation Service Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing and repairing irrigation systems, performing seasonal maintenance, and ensuring high-quality service for our clients. Responsibilities
  • Perform irrigation service work, including diagnostics, repairs, and system upgrades
  • Complete seasonal services such as spring start-ups, mid-season checks, and winterizations according to company standards
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues, wiring, valves, controllers, heads, pumps, and hydraulic problems
  • Communicate repairs, recommendations, and system concerns to customers in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate, same-day documentation using company tools
  • Ensure schedule reliability and complete work efficiently to minimize preventable callbacks
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of company vehicles
  • Identify opportunities for additional installations or upgrades and communicate these to management
  • Support the growth of the division and assist with apprentice training when needed
Qualifications
  • Ability to independently perform irrigation diagnostics and repairs within 90 days of employment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
  • Organizational skills for maintaining documentation and vehicle readiness
  • Willingness to support team growth and assist with training as needed
