Shift: Morning Shift (approximately 7:00am - 5:00pm availability required)

Job Overview for Hardscape Foreman
The Lee Group is seeking a hardworking and dependable Hardscape Foreman to join one of our valued clients in Virginia Beach, VA. This position is ideal for an experienced landscaping professional with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in hardscape installation and outdoor construction projects. The Hardscape Foreman will lead crews in completing projects safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards while maintaining strong communication with management and team members.

Job Responsibilities of Hardscape Foreman
Lead and supervise landscaping and hardscape crews on job sites.
Perform and oversee hardscape installation including dry laying pavers, grading, planting, and other landscape construction tasks.
Coordinate daily project activities with the Operations Manager, Landscape Designer, and company ownership.
Ensure projects are completed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Operate landscaping and construction equipment as needed.
Train and mentor crew members while promoting a positive team environment.
Maintain safe and clean job sites throughout the workday.
Assist with additional landscaping and hardscape duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications of Hardscape Foreman
Valid driver's license required.
Leadership experience preferred; strong leadership potential will also be considered.
Experience with landscaping and hardscapes including planting, grading, and paver installation required.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse crew.
Willingness to perform hands-on physical labor and work outdoors.
Experience operating machinery such as mini excavators and skid steers is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with management and ownership.
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation required.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements of Hardscape Foreman
Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling required throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
Exposure to landscaping equipment, machinery, dirt, dust, and construction-related environments.
Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods.
Shift Details
Morning shift availability required, typically between 7:00am - 5:00pm.
Overtime opportunities may be available based on workload and project needs.
