FIELD WORKING IRRIGATION SUPERVISOR 

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Field Working  Irrigation Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Oversite of technicians, schedules, invoicing and company systems and procedures are required. The position requires performing Irrigation Technician responsibilities in the field as assigned by Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversite and management of technicians, schedules, invoicing and company procedures and policies.
  • Operation of the Company App for assignments, schedules, projects, quoting & invoicing.
  • Functioning as a Technician and overseeing Technicians in the following areas.
  • Installation: Install irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, piping, controllers, and other irrigation components.
  • Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance of irrigation systems, including checking for leaks, clogged heads, and ensuring system efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faulty systems, including controllers, valves, pumps, and wiring issues.
  • System Adjustments: Adjust sprinkler heads and controllers to optimize water coverage and minimize water waste.
  • Upgrades & Improvements: Recommend and implement improvements to existing irrigation systems, including water-saving technologies and efficient designs.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with clients to explain system issues, recommend solutions, and provide instructions for basic maintenance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, repairs made, and parts replaced.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with local water regulations, codes, and safety standards. Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience working with irrigation systems, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of irrigation system components (sprinklers, controllers, pumps, valves, etc.) and their proper installation and maintenance.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and solve complex irrigation system issues.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks such as digging trenches or handling large tools.
  • Driving License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of water conservation practices and efficient irrigation design.
  • Familiarity with smart irrigation systems and controllers.
  • Able to read blueprints and site plans, as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Pay is based on experience
  • VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD FOR 3 YEARS.
  • AT LEAST 1-3 YEARS IRRIGATION EXPERIENCE
