Description
Russell Landscape Group is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician (Field Manager) to oversee irrigation services across assigned properties. This role is responsible for managing irrigation contracts, executing work orders, and ensuring all repairs and installations are completed on time, on budget, and to company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret irrigation proposals, designs, and specifications to complete repairs and installations
  • Coordinate and pre-plan work with Account Managers and Enhancement Managers
  • Perform system inspections, diagnostics, start-ups, repairs, and upgrades
  • Develop proposals for irrigation repairs, upgrades, and small installations
  • Accurately submit and manage reporting, including:
    • Time tracking
    • Purchase orders and receipts
    • Daily debriefs
    • Inspection and billing reports
    • Proposal reconciliations (via CREW and email)
  • Ensure all work meets quality, efficiency, and budget expectations
  • Communicate daily with the Irrigation Operations Manager on project updates
  • Identify and communicate change orders as needed
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to Irrigation Technicians
  • Attend and participate in site meetings
  • Support recruiting efforts by identifying and referring potential candidates
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies at all times
