Familiarity with IP camera software, network video recorders (NVRs), and configuration tools is typically required. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are essential soft skills for success in this role. What are IP cameras?

IP cameras, or Internet Protocol cameras, are digital video cameras that transmit and receive data over a network or the internet. Unlike traditional analog CCTV cameras, IP cameras can send and store video footage digitally, allowing for higher resolution images, remote access, and easier integration with other security systems. They are widely used in surveillance systems for homes, businesses, and public spaces due to their flexibility and advanced features such as motion detection, night vision, and cloud storage.
