  • Title: Controls Project Manager
  • Location: Minneapolis, MN (in-office presence required at least 4 days/week)
  • Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 + discretionary bonus
  • Travel: Up to 10%

Responsibilities:
  • Lead client engagement through product selection, budgeting, coordination, and project logistics.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, and cost performance from initial kickoff to closeout.
  • Collaborate with building owners, engineers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendor partners.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and progress reports.
  • Prepare, submit, and track change orders when required.
  • Negotiate labor pricing and oversee field resource assignments.
  • Ensure high-quality project delivery while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience as a Controls Project Manager or similar role within building systems.
  • Technical understanding of smart building controls, lighting controls, or BAS systems.
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with construction trades.
  • Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Familiarity with product lines like Tridium or Distech is an advantage.
