Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
 


Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior IoT Engineer with strong experience in industrial automation and IT-OT integration within manufacturing environments.


Key Skills:
  • PLC, HMI, SCADA, OPC UA
  • Industrial protocols: Modbus, DNP3, IEC60870-5-101/104
  • IoT protocols: MQTT, CoAP, AMQP
  • Networking: DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Routers, Gateways
  • IT-OT integration tools: Kepware, Ignition
  • MES integration and real-time data collection
  • Troubleshooting, RCA, and incident management

Responsibilities:
  • Integrate industrial devices with MES for real-time monitoring
  • Troubleshoot PLC/SCADA/HMI systems
  • Manage device lifecycle, firmware, and connectivity
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with OEM/vendors for support
  • Maintain documentation and perform regular maintenance

Experience:
  • 8–10 years in IoT / OT / Industrial Automation

Nice to Have:
