POSITION SUMMARY:
The Client Invoicing Analyst is responsible for the audit and reconciliation of all Customer and Client Financial ledgers, working with the Client Invoicing Coordinators to ensure all ledgers are in balance and billing ready. Additional tasks include working with the Corporate Accounting Team to verify all payments, credit memos or required adjustments are posted timely and accurately. The Analyst will also work with respective teams across the organization to support file closing and client inactivation activities to ensure Accounts Receivable, Customer and Client ledgers and complete and ready for closeout.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
โ€ข Verify information on client and customer accounts receivable ledgers are complete and correct; correct any omitted and/or inaccurate information timely.
โ€ข Verify information on client and customer accounts financial ledgers are complete and correct; correct any omitted and/or inaccurate information timely.
โ€ข Verify accurate and timely payment application for all client payments; correct any omitted and/or inaccurate information and drive process improvement/resolutions as an advocate for Altair and the client group.
โ€ข Upon receipt of payment from client, compute and process client late fees as needed.
โ€ข Upon receipt of payment from client, compute and process exchange rate differences as needed.
โ€ข Work with Homesale, Global and/or Internal Audit teams to reconcile accounts payable ledgers to support the Final Accounting Analysis (FAA)
โ€ข Working with Operational Excellence to support Client Offboarding activities, to include reconciliation and balancing of all Client and Customer Ledgers, Accounts Receivable Ledgers, and Corporate Accounting Ledgers
โ€ข Ensure all SOC controls are followed for reconciliation of financial ledgers.
โ€ข Participation on team projects as part of the overall transformation and automation of work and non-routine assignments as requested by the Manager, Client Invoicing and/or Altair management.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance, or equivalent combination of experience, skills, training and education
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
โ€ข 3 + years of overall accounting experience, within the relocation industry, consulting firm or multinational company in positions of increasing responsibility
โ€ข Intermediate level user of MS Office products with a focus on Excel to include multiple formulas, lookups and pivot tables
โ€ข Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Word & Excel and Outlook; knowledge of other widely accepted accounting software preferred; good keyboarding skills with the ability to input data quickly and accurately
โ€ข Good verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Attention to detail and accuracy
โ€ข Expertise using calculator and 10-key
