Job description

Location: Hybrid - Tampa, FL
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 11 months (possible extension)
Compensation: $42/$48 per hour (based on experience)
Summary of the Role
Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and governance of the global procurement e-invoicing program and transformation projects for a big biopharma leader. Drive cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, Finance, Tax, IT, Accounts Payable, and external partners to deliver compliant and efficient e-invoicing solutions. Ensure ongoing compliance with global tax and regulatory mandates while supporting business process and technology enablement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of global e-invoicing initiatives, including planning, requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and status reports
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies across regions and functions
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and roadblocks
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Tax, IT, and external vendors to interpret and implement evolving e-invoicing regulations
  • Establish and support governance protocols for regulatory compliance and project prioritization
  • Maintain documentation, controls, and audit readiness of e-invoicing processes
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and steering committee meetings
  • Collaborate on business and technical requirements and solutions for scalable e-invoicing
  • Drive continuous improvement and support the development of the long-term global e-invoicing roadmap

Required Experience & Skills
  • Experience managing global business process, finance transformation, ERP, or compliance-related projects
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple functions
  • Experience working with external vendors, consultants, and technology providers
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with e-invoicing, Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, Tax, or Finance processes
  • Knowledge of global e-invoicing mandates and electronic tax reporting requirements
  • Experience with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or other ERP and invoice automation platforms
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project management certification
  • Experience working in a highly regulated global environment
