Job description

Overview
The Office of Contracts and Grants Accounting (CGA)is seeking a Student Assistant to support sponsored research accounting and university financial operations. This position provides hands-on experience assisting with financial documentation, recordkeeping, and administrative support related to sponsored awards.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with filing and maintaining sponsored award documentation
  • Support review and processing of financial documents (vouchers, forms, reports)
  • Help reconcile expenditure documentation to support sponsor invoicing
  • Assist with records retention and general administrative support

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled student at Auburn University in Accounting, Finance, or related business field

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounting or financial concepts
  • Experience with Excel; Banner experience a plus
