Job description

Roof Services, A Tecta America Company LLC, is a leader in the commercial roofing industry, setting the standard for "Roofing Redefined." With a strong commitment to innovation, safety, and advanced technology, we deliver a diverse range of services, including new installations, restorations, and repairs, throughout Hampton Roads.
We are currently seeking a full time Administrative Assistant for our Virginia Beach office. The Administrative Assistant will manage front office operations and provide support across various departments. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors, assisting office staff, ordering supplies, and sorting and distributing mail. Proficiency in Excel and Word is required, along with the ability to handle general office tasks as needed.
This is a Full Time position, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Pay range $16-19/hr BOE
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • 2 years of administrative support experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Experience working with a construction company is a plus.
  • 1 year experience with AP/AR, invoice processing and reconciliation preferred
  • Basic excel skills required (creating and managing spreadsheets, filtering, and sorting)
  • *Must have a valid Drivers License and reliable transportation*
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • High school graduate, some college preferred
  • 2-3 years of general office support experience in a fast paced environment and able to juggle multiple responsibilities independently
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Professional and personable demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid attendance record
