The team you'll join

The Investor Services team is a global client facing team responsible for delivering timely and accurate support to investors across the front-to-back lifecycle. The core responsibilities include inbox management, document posting via CRM portal, and transfers. The team serves as the central point of contact between our investors and internal stakeholders, maintaining a strong client experience.

About the role

StepStone is seeking a motivated, focused, and organized Summer Analyst for the Investor Services team. This group manages investor inquiries, investor reporting, postings and transfers across asset classes. They work alongside the Fund Onboarding team who is responsible for AML/KYC due diligence and the coordination of fund launches.

What you'll do

The Summer Analyst will be responsible for managingย data in the investor portal - including the investor service inbox, processing of time sensitive documents, data maintenance and transfers. The position serves as a trusted resource for information and assistance, strong data mining, detail orientation, problem-solving and follow-through are required.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare investor portal postings and creating client communicationsย 
  • Update and manage document processes and policies to ensure proper record keepingย 
  • Communicate with other StepStone departments regarding upcoming posts and approvals
  • Responding by e-mail and/or phone to client inquiries and information requests, guided by the team
  • Manage data quality projects with minimal oversight and strong follow-through
  • Identify key automation opportunities across systems
  • Prepare and maintain procedures and documentation for the team as operational responsibilities grow
  • Strong data integrity and detail orientation on requests, being privy to sensitive client data
  • Risk orientated mind-set when facilitating requests

What we're looking for

  • Undergraduate student graduating anywhere from December 2027 through June 2028ย 
  • Must be able to work legally in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the futureย 
  • GPA of 3.2 or aboveย 
  • A desire to join our Global Private Markets investments platform after graduationย 
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Power Point and Excelย 
  • Demonstrated track record of academic successย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsย 
  • Strong, demonstrable analytical capabilities, including strong quantitative/modeling skillsย 
  • Team player and strong work ethicย
