Job Description
Investment Advisor Associate:
We are looking for Registered Investment Advisor support that will provide wealth management and investment services for our diverse clients. You will assess financial goals, advise clients and make product recommendations that best suit risk profile and investment objective. The advisor may also assist with general office operations.
Responsibilities
  • You will meet with new clients and existing clients to handle and manage their investment accounts.
  • Review and analyze investment portfolios, variable, fixed and indexed annuities, and insurance policies, making suitable product recommendations for clients
  • Trading and re-balancing of client portfolios as needed
  • Create and and monitor investment portfolio models and update as needed
  • Communicate with clients, providing services in account management, technical support, and problem solving
  • Prepare reports and other materials for client and/or prospect meetings using the latest investment softwares
  • Implementation of securities trading
  • Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to regulation of securities, investments and investment products, securities markets, and financial planning
  • Carry out and provide research and analysis in detailed, consistent, and timely fashion, consistently verifying accuracy and quality of work
  • Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentation materials for client meetings and communication
  • Prepare client meetings for lead advisors and anticipate needs in advance of meetings
  • Attend training and demonstrate knowledge and skills to identify current trends that enhance team members and the organization
  • Training and/or delegating tasks to other support positions
  • May also assist during tax season by preparing returns and/or perform special project as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:
College degree in Business, Finance, or related field
5 years of experience in similar position
