Job description

We are a private wealth management firm seeking a people-oriented Investment Advisor who combines sharp investment acumen with creative thinking. In this role, you'll work directly with individual investors and families to shape their financial futures. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the rigor of financial strategy and the fulfillment of building meaningful client relationships. You will be a key contributor in shaping portfolios, sharing insights, and delivering a personalized experience that helps our clients feel confident in their financial future.
In this role, you will:
  • Communicate Investment Strategy Internally and Externally: Translate complex investment concepts into compelling, human language. Write insightful investment commentary, lead conversations with clients, and represent the firm's thinking clearly across the team.
  • Build and Present Portfolios in Line with Investment Models: Collaborate with clients and the investment team to construct tailored portfolios that align with both model guidance and individual goals. Share your thinking clearly and confidently with clients.
  • Coordinate Portfolio Implementation: Work with the investment team to implement client recommendations and manage updates in line with evolving strategies. Own the execution process while looking for ways to improve efficiency and precision.
  • Maintain and Audit Portfolios: Monitor client portfolios through a systematic review process. Apply your attention to detail and sense of ownership to keep things on track.
  • Research New and Existing Investments: Bring intellectual curiosity and creative thinking to our research efforts. Evaluate current investments and explore new opportunities that support client and firm goals.
  • Contribute to the Investment Committee: Collaborate actively in committee meetings. You're not afraid to share ideas, question assumptions, or advocate for a new approach when appropriate.

We want to talk to you if:
  • You're People-Centered and Private-Client Focused: You love building relationships with real people-not just managing numbers. You enjoy helping individuals and families understand and feel confident in their financial journey.
  • You're an Investment Nerd with Empathy: You're passionate about markets and people. You can dive deep into economic trends one moment and clearly explain your thinking to a client the next.
  • You Take Initiative: You act without waiting for direction. You bring ideas to the table, follow through, and thrive in environments where your contributions shape the outcome.
  • You Think Creatively and Solve Problems: You're excited by challenges and open to unconventional solutions. When you see something that can be improved, you take the lead to make it better.
  • You Communicate with Purpose: You tailor your message to the audience, whether that's a one-on-one with a client or a presentation to the investment committee. You value clarity over jargon and aren't afraid to speak up when you have a new idea or perspective.
  • You Present with Clarity and Confidence: You enjoy turning complex ideas into understandable insights-whether in front of clients, peers, or leadership. You're comfortable thinking on your feet, open to feedback, and not afraid to be wrong in pursuit of better answers.
  • You Seek Excellence and Growth: You've pushed yourself in some area of life-whether in your career, education, athletics, or a personal pursuit-and you're always looking to grow.
