Worksource Oregon is partnering with a Portland Metro employer who is recruiting for an Inventory Specialist for their warehouse North Portland.


REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma/GED

18 years old

1-3 years of inventory, warehouse, logistics, or operations experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skill

Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software or database

Strong time management and problem-solving

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Solid teamwork and customer service skill

Employer will do a background and drug screen


PREFERENCES

Experience in the event rental, hospitality, logistics, or warehouse industry

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification

Experience with inventory management software

Bilingual (English/Spanish)


JOB DUTIES

Manage and maintain accurate records of rental inventory within the company's inventory management system in a fast paced warehouse environment

Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits

Receive, inspect, and process rental items returning from events

Verify inventory quantities before and after customer orders

Identify, document, and report damaged, missing, or lost rental equipment

Coordinate repairs, replacements, and disposal of damaged inventory

Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibility

Assist in staging and preparing inventory for upcoming events and deliveries

Monitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs to management

Label, tag, and track inventory assets

Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and event operations teams

HOURS- Full time- Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with occasional overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event seasons
