Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our auto glass warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, ensuring proper storage and handling of automotive glass products, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations and delivering high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of auto glass and related materials.
  • Accurately input product information into inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to manage stock levels and order accuracy.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of fragile glass inventory to prevent damage.
  • Assist with warehouse operations including picking, packing, and staging inventory for delivery or installation.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Track and report damaged, lost, or misplaced inventory.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate degree or warehouse certification is a plus.
  • Previous inventory or warehouse experience, ideally in an auto glass or similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and handle glass materials safely.
