U.S. Electrical Services Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join the Inventory Control team at our Middletown, CT Distribution Center. This role reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor and plays a critical role in inventory accuracy, product flow, and warehouse safety. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate warehouse equipment including reach truck, forklift, cherry picker, and electric pallet jack following certification and safety requirements
• Replenish product in the main warehouse using RF scanner directed location moves
• Pull overstock pallets to support order fulfillment when full pallet quantities are required
• Pull forward pallets from double deep locations to maintain safe and accessible storage
• Remove shrink wrap from pallets placed into main warehouse locations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment on a daily basis
• Support other departments as operational needs require
• Organize stock and assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Demonstrated prior experience and proven success in a similar warehouse or inventory control role, with a track record of accuracy, productivity, and safety compliance
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment and tools
• Experience using RF scanners preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift or powered industrial equipment certification preferred, including order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks
• Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software systems
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritize work
• Dependable team player with solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and problem solving skills
• Flexibility to meet operational scheduling needs
