Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support all outbound and inbound logistics within our manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. The ideal candidate will take ownership of shipping, receiving, and inventory-related processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Logistics:
- Prepare and pack orders accurately
- Manage domestic and international shipping
- Prepare commercial invoices and customs documentation
- Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, freight)
- Track shipments and resolve issues

Receiving & Inventory:
- Receive and verify incoming materials
- Inspect shipments for accuracy
- Support cycle counts

Operations Support:
- Coordinate with production and procurement
- Resolve material flow issues
- Maintain clean workspace

Required Experience

- 3+ years in shipping/receiving
- Experience with packing and shipping
- International shipping and customs knowledge
- Experience with shipping software or ERP systems

- Experience with major carriers

- Inventory handling experience

- Comfortable lifting and handling materials as needed
