Base a Varennes, votre travail appuiera directement l'infrastructure electrique essentielle du Canada pendant une periode de croissance importante. Vous superviserez les activites liees aux materiaux de bout en bout, y compris la planification, l'approvisionnement, l'ordonnancement de la production, l'inventaire, l'entreposage et la logistique, afin d'assurer un flux de materiaux fiable pour soutenir la production et la livraison aux clients.

Tu dirigeras le processus de planification des ventes et des operations de l'usine, traduisant les previsions de ventes en plans de production equilibres et executables tout en tenant compte des contraintes fonctionnelles et des exigences a long terme.   • Executer le processus de planification des ventes et des operations de l'usine et integrer les previsions dans des plans de production equilibres.

  • Gerer la planification et l'approvisionnement du materiel pour assurer la disponibilite en temps opportun du materiel pour la production.

  • Superviser la planification generale, l'ordonnancement detaille, la gestion de la capacite et le suivi de l'execution dans l'ensemble des chaines de production.

  • Diriger les activites d'inventaire et d'entrepot pour soutenir les objectifs de l'usine et ameliorer l'exactitude des stocks.

  • Gerer la planification et l'execution de la logistique pour les envois entrants et sortants.

  • Ameliorer les methodes de livraison des materiaux pour ameliorer l'efficacite de la production

  • Favoriser les initiatives d'amelioration continue, y compris les causes fondamentales et les activites de lutte contre les mesures

Votre parcours

The Opportunity

In this role, you will manage materials operations at the largest transformer manufacturing facility within a leading global transformer business. Based in Varennes, your work will directly support Canada's critical electric infrastructure during a period of significant growth. You will oversee endtoend materials activities, including planning, procurement, production scheduling, inventory, warehousing, and logistics, ensuring reliable material flow to support production and customer delivery.

You will run the factory's Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, translating sales forecasts into balanced, executable production plans while accounting for functional constraints and longrange requirements. By strengthening execution discipline and driving continuous improvement, you will improve material availability, inventory accuracy, operational performance, and delivery reliability. This role offers meaningful exposure to complex manufacturing operations and crossfunctional collaboration within a global value chain.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Run the factory Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and integrate forecasts into balanced production plans

  • Manage materials planning and procurement to ensure timely availability of materials for production

  • Oversee master planning, detailed scheduling, capacity management, and execution monitoring across production lines

  • Direct inventory and warehouse operations to support factory goals and improve inventory accuracy

  • Manage logistics planning and execution for inbound and outbound shipments

  • Improve material delivery methods to enhance production efficiency

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause and countermeasure activities

  • Run kaizen activities to eliminate waste and improve processes

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

  • At least 10 years of manufacturing experience

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably within a PP module

  • Ability to work crossfunctionally within a global value chain

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Able to work independently, apply rootcause approaches, and manage priorities with a sense of urgency

  • Sound communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a customer and qualityfocused mindset
