Ferguson Integrated Supply has a position open for an Operations Manager at our customer site located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This position will support procurement and inventory management of spare parts materials at our customer location. This position would be onsite in an aerospace manufacturing environment and would work side by side with our customer providing procurement services and operational logistics.
The Operations Manager is the point of contact for all local requests and works closely with various departments and partners through the facility to drive cost savings and implement efficiencies for plant functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the components of supply management and logistics, including personnel, inventory, procurement and contract fulfillment.

  • Build and maintain vendor relationships as well as customer relationships

  • Sourcing and procurement, reporting, cost reduction, and margin improvement

  • Review and maintain inventory levels

  • Formulate and implement policies on processes to improve service, enhance the supply chain, and increase return on investment

  • Maintain the safety and security of the facility in accordance with OSHA standards and enforce all policies, rules, regulations and procedures set by the organization

  • Maintain documents according to record retention policy

  • Completes the analysis and identification of process gaps and continuous improvement opportunities, inspiring changes and lean improvements in operations.

  • Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team

  • Represent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed

Qualifications
  • Background in purchasing/procurement.

  • Purchasing/Supply Chain Management certification preferred

  • GMP experience preferred

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work

  • Proven ability to follow documented procedures

  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing & verbally

  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

  • A willingness to learn how to manage a business

Pay Range:
$5,258.34 - $8,408.34
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
