Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. We design, manufacture, sell and service the world's best solar technology, energy storage systems, and electric vehicles, providing customers the opportunity to generate, store and consume energy entirely sustainably.

Tesla is seeking to hire a Cycle Counter for our production facility, in Sparks, NV. The Cycle Counter will be primarily focused on the integrity of processes within Gigafactory Nevada for raw materials through the cycle count program. This position will do daily audits and report on accuracy failures to appropriate parties for correction and accountability.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity by executing inventory control counts, audits and/or reconciliationsto ensure company inventory accuracy goals
  • Ability to work in a two-person team to effectively execute inventory control counts to maintain timeliness and count integrity but also able to work as an individual contributor conducting audits throughout the warehouses and factories
  • Analyze data to determine root cause to support audit results and drive corrective actions
  • Educate production control and production associates as needed when inventory issues arise
  • Reach out to proper support teams for system issue resolutions using the appropriate tools
  • Actively participate in all meetings and provide feedback and improvement ideas to make inventory control process improvements
  • Learn and understand all inventory control functions/tools and compliance requirements and work professionally and courteously in all aspects of the Must be able to pass all necessary Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) certification tests and safely drive all required PIT equipment daily (minimum 6 hours per day)
What You'll Bring
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory analysis, production control, materials management, or materials planning
  • Technical discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Basic math skills required
  • Analytical capabilities, including data analysis for optimizing inventory levels; advanced MS Excel skills preferred
  • Experience with standard ERP software, FX/MFS, and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment; Lean Six Sigma desired
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
