Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all activities related to purchasing, inventory management, supplier relationships, warranty equipment processing, and logistics operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting internal departments through effective inventory control and procurement processes.

Duties:
  • Coordinate inventory management activities, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper stock control.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders, following up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, and other departments to support project requirements and inventory needs.
  • Coordinate local and international shipments, imports, exports, and logistics activities with suppliers, couriers, and customs brokers.
  • Process warranty claims and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) for equipment requiring repair or replacement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and field service records within the company’s ERP system.
  • Analyze pricing and negotiate with suppliers to obtain cost-effective solutions and favorable purchasing terms.
  • Support continuous process improvements related to inventory control, purchasing, warehouse operations, and annual inventory audits.
  • Train and support employees on inventory procedures and system usage as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, purchasing of electronic equipment, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAP, or similar transactional systems.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international logistics processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and commitment to accuracy.
