Job description

Position OverviewKeep our communities fed.
Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Auditor helps this cause by validating product to be delivered to customers as part of process to measure outbound selection accuracy. Responsibilities include assisting with research and resolution of errors. Job Description
  • Earn $19.28 per hour + Freezer differential!

  • Full Time, Day shift

  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm

  • 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406

You will contribute by:

  • Unloading pallets by operating electronic pallet jack or identifying sample pallet not yet loaded

  • Completing quality checks related to pallet construction (is product wrapped well, stacked well, up the right way, etc)

  • Manually moving cases of product in/out warehouse racks

  • Inspecting condition of trailers when necessary

  • Providing information to ICQA lead who enters information into iPad

  • Validating physical product matches orders using handheld scanner

  • Reloading product on pallet onto trailer/return to warehouse team when physical count ties to order value and/or approved by ICQA lead

  • Ensuring accuracy in documentation and record-keeping for warehouse inventory management

  • Correcting errors that ICQA lead determines necessary based on customer contract

  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse

  • Performing other duties as assigned

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

  • Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

  • Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

  • Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

  • Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

  • Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

  • Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
