Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • This position will primarily focus on activitiesย related to inventory control of material.
  • The position will perform theย physical and administrative tasks involved in receivingย shipping, storing and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Involves unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices,ย maintaining records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items.
  • Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory andย on manufacturing lines.
  • May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
  • Involved in Inventory Control including FIFO, Cycle Counts. Actively involvedย in 5S and Lean activities.
  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognizeย deviation from accepted practice is required.
  • Normally receives generalย instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

Education & Experience

  • Experience working within a team atmosphere with agility to multitask.ย 
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
  • Experience withย Oracle, Excel and Microsoft Office suit is a plus.
  • Ability to occasionally lifts up to 50ย pounds.ย 
  • 2+ years of stockroom/logistics experience preferred.ย
