Job Overview

CMPC is seeking a Lead Inventory Control and Loss Prevention to coordinate inventory processes and loss prevention across the USA-Mexico area — drive improvements, resolve cross-functional discrepancies, and safeguard inventory quality and company practices while maintaining strong relationships with cross-sectional areas and warehouse/stock owners in-country. Supports the Head of Stock Risk on training, protocol enforcement, and process governance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate inventory calendars across locations with responsible parties and external vendors
  • Ensure root cause analysis is completed for SLA compliance and improvement opportunities
  • Execute and drive execution of action plans
  • Follow up on action plans across People, Controls, Technology, Procedures dimensions
  • Conduct periodic plant visits to surface best practices and improvement opportunities
  • Generate inventory reports and monitor control alerts
  • Ensure control KPIs are met via control matrices
  • Prevent avoidable losses; identify necessary changes and coordinate with involved areas
  • Participate in stock audits, ensuring auditor findings are addressed
  • Report weekly/monthly to the Head of Risk and Existence Control
  • Liaise across company levels — warehouse managers, Operational Inventory Manager, accounting, internal/external auditors


Education:

  • University degree or professional technician — desired field: Logistics technician or similar.


Requirements:

  • Inventory control, logistics, supply chain, operational risk
  • Lean Management, basic cost accounting, expert-level inventory management
  • Root cause analysis
  • Leadership and high coordination capacity
  • Strong communication skills


Job Experience:

  • 3–5 years, in inventory control/logistics/supply chain/operational risk.


Software:

  • SAP and other ERPs; Microsoft Office/Excel.
