Location: Newport News, VA (onsite position)

Overview
The Inventory Control System Analyst provides technical support for key Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities and initiatives supporting receiving, warehouse, logistics and inventory management for the Riverside Health System (RHS). This position performs a wide range of duties necessary to communicate and coordinate metrics and analytics for inventory control/management, procurement, value analysis and data analytics. The analyst ensures inventory, delivery systems, informatics and documentation meet the needs of RHS departments and facilities.
What you will do

  • Create, process and reconcile customer operational requests - user accounts, system administration and maintenance
  • Provide programming and systems analysis support for automation of SCM initiatives to RHS clinicians, physicians, management and vendors. Provide support and data entry for assigned projects, software implementations, system upgrades, database maintenance and application testing.
  • Identify problems and recommend solutions to improve processes and software applications. Use historical data and future predictors to make recommendations.
  • Provide system support for ordering, requisitioning, template management and training
  • Perform root cause analysis for inventory control variance identification
  • Participate in special projects to increase the overall efficiencies of the storeroom. Coordinate meetings.


Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelors Degree, Related field of study (i.e. Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, etc.) (Required)


Experience

  • 2 years ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes experience (Required)
  • 5-6 years relevant inventory experience in lieu of education AND 2 years ERP/MRP systems and inventory control process experience (Required)
  • Experience with Workday Resource Planning System, Par Excellence, PICIS, PYXIS, Premier, Global Health Exchange (GHX), Electronic Data Exchange (EDI), Image Now and Crystal Reporting (Preferred)
