Job Summary: The Inventory Control and Planning Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of products. This role involves medium to long-range inventory planning, organizing S&OP processes and meetings, and working closely with the Director of Production Planning, Director of Procurement, and Manufacturing Manager to align inventory strategies with production schedules and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, supply chain optimization, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Production Planning to forecast inventory needs based on production schedules and customer demand.
  • Work with the Director of Procurement to coordinate purchasing activities and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports and dashboards to provide visibility into inventory status and performance.
