Job description

Inventory Associate


*You must have inventory experience to be considered for this position*


Job Description:

Duties include, but are not limited to, using written work procedures, engineering drawings, and verbal/written instructions to perform material control functions such as kitting, tracking, and moving material. Proficiency in at least five (5) of the following Material Control functions is required:


  - Kiting: Accurately and efficiently picks parts from lists and assembles them into kits.

  - Warehousing: Performs shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions with high accuracy and documentation. Maintains shelf locations via cycle counts and ensures an orderly warehouse.

  - Computer Skills: Utilizes the company’s inventory system to verify inventory, research transactions, transfers, issues, and receipts.

  - Problem-solving: Researches problems, reconciles discrepancies, and provides clear reports of findings.

  - Production Support: Understands the production process to efficiently expedite materials, as well as identify and track shortages or damaged goods.

  - Stacking & Overhead Crane Operation: Safely and efficiently operates cab, pendant, and forklift vehicles to move materials of all sizes, including loading and unloading trailer trucks.


Job Specifications:


  - Minimum of three (3) years of experience in material control, a stockroom, or a related manufacturing environment.

  - Ability to use a tape measure, hammer, nails, and other hand tools.

  - Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

  - Proficiency in English measurement systems, with the ability to learn the Metric system.

  - Basic arithmetic and excellent counting skills.

  - Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment, climb stairs/ladders, and lift, push, or pull a minimum of 40 pounds.
